Business Background I have been the MD of my own successful training & consultancy business for the last 11 years, Dunbar Training & Development Ltd. During this time, I have worked with many blue-chip organisations to develop and deliver customised training programmes with coaching follow-up sessions. Each assignment will generally have 3 stages, consultancy to uncover training requirements and develop the training course; training delivery, to groups no larger than 12, and then coaching follow-up sessions, in small groups and /or individuals. I have a great deal of experience of working with call centre operators and team leaders. I have designed and delivered an abundance of communication and interpersonal skills training programmes, covering all aspects of sales, customer care, telephone skills, body language, rapport building, dealing with ‘difficult’ people, team building, leadership, motivation, performance improvement and coaching. I have a wealth of customer testimonials, and references are available from any of these organisations, along with a more detailed description of the work undertaken. I have participated in radio interviews and have had numerous articles written about training and coaching I have been involved in. I first encountered NLP in 1995, and achieved my Practitioner Certificate then Master Practitioner Certificate through Marlin Training, involving a total of 320 hours of supervised training and practice of NLP techniques. Since then I have
had a passion for working with people one-on-one to facilitate behavioural
changes. In 2001, I set up my coaching practice to work with small business owners and private individuals. I have worked with a variety of different people looking to achieve a wide spectrum of different goals, from writing a book, finding romance to launching a new business. Prior to starting my own business, I worked for Dun and Bradstreet for nine years, in different customer service, sales and marketing roles, and eventually as a senior manager, in charge of a large team of people responsible for establishing contact and developing business with potential customers.
